[ Horror fans cannot get enough of the genre ]
The Horror sector is proven to be the most stable genre. Horror fans and audiences are drawn, almost compelled, toward tales of the horrific and the repulsive. Partly because horror continues to evolve radically, every time the genre is deemed dead at the end of every decade it seems to come up with another twist. Horror has been one of the most often-dissected genres and financially gaining for studios. The industry is the fastest growing market around and shows no signs of slowing down with Comics, toys and other merchandised goodies based on popular horror film characters appearing on the shelves. Horror fans cannot get enough of the genre. In 2006 no less than 12 horror titles were confirmed to be the most profitable cinema releases of that year. Saw III made $80 million dollars for Lionsgate out selling hits such as Poseidon, Nanny McPhee, United 93 and World Trade Centre even though Saw III was rated R (18) and had no real notable star pulling power unlike Poseidon and the World Trade centre.
[ Gorezone is a brand name to be associated with ]
Gorezone stands proud in the market place as horror is, and always has been, big business and this has been acknowledged by magazine distributors and films studios alike around the world. Gorezones target audience ranges from ages 16 to 50 with no direct competition genre titles on stores magazine racks. Gorezones quality and its popularity within the horror film industry has already made it a brand name to be associated with, the likes of Eli Roth and Wes Craven are big fans and the continued fantastic support we have received from movie stars, writers, competitors and most welcome of all our ever increasing readers.
Gorezone has achieved success within its short period of time due to its research into the market and giving readers what they want from a horror publication. This has not gone unnoticed when in October 2006 Gorezone collaborated with film giants Momentum pictures at the London Excel's Chiller Fest and bought actress Christa Campbell to the UK to sign Gorezone merchandise then in November 2006 and 2007 Gorezone joined forces with the Birmingham NEC and is the official sponsors of the Memorabilia event.
